First time trying out one of these thingys

Begin.. the adventures of Mr. Ice Cube! (actually.. several Mr. Ice Cubes)
I found that hot iron stick thing and I said to myself.. "lets stick an ice cube on it"
And stick an ice cube, I did. I actually have about 9 shots of the ice slowly melting, but I picked out the best ones . It all happened pretty fast, it's hot here in Mississauga o_O.
So ends the adventures ..

A couple of friends and I started this trend of taking pictures while they're suspended in air jumping. We did it everywhere, they come out with pretty funny results, you should try it sometime!

So I decided to try it out on my younger siblings, hehe, those pix make me giggle xD

Hahaha! Your title reminds me of my sister's first car. To get the passenger door to close tight, you had to really slam it. She would tell people when they got in to "slam it like you mean it." Tue 1-Aug-2006 14:09

Meet Spoon.



Spoon is the laziest kitten i've ever seen. He is literally, eat, sleep, and poo. Heavy sleeper too, while he's asleep, i've made him "dance", arranged him in stupid positions, and checked out his fangs. Cute little thing though.



Here's two of the girls, first one named "Tiny" and the other one "GreyGrey". Yup, we put all our efforts in coming up with the most imaginative names

Here we go, here's my shot on the sqwiggly lights that everyone loves doing. There's a photo of the actual place without moving the camera at the end.

You got pretty dang crazy there towards the end as I paged through them. I have to admit to liking these "sqwiggly" fotos. Um, doesn't the letter U follow the letter Q? Whatever -- what I'm really wondering is why blurred digital fotos always make dashed lines, and not continuous lines. What is it about the way a digital camera works that captures long exposures in pulses? Any digital camera gurus in the audience? Fri 9-Jun-2006 13:27

Yes, it did get pretty dang crazy. If you were observing me from below my balcony, you would have seen a crazed teenage girl going through what looks like multiple seizures with a camera in hand, but hey, I just wanted to see what I could make . And I agree, I do spell in somewhat "creative" ways sometimes.. but all for the love of art, right? I have no idea why cameras make dashed lines.. probably has something to do with all those crazy camera terms.. "shutter speed"... "flash".. you know.. that stuff. Sat 8-Jul-2006 04:55

Ontario Science Centre

The veins (dyed) of a duck and rooster.

Update - Screw it, I put the other pictures up. View at your own risk

I went to the science centre last thursday, to see an exhibit that features real human bodies that have been plastinated to show the chosen parts of the body. It's quite shocking as well as extremely interesting, as you can look into a real human's body, seeing all the many organs and muscles etc.
F.Y.I, before the person passed away they signed a form agreeing to donate their body upon their death. For more info, go www.bodyworlds.com. I managed to sneak 3 shots of the .. specimens, but i'm not sure about putting them up, as the exhibit is highly controversial and stuff. So i'll just put up one that doesnt show anything remotely grotesque.

The red forms in that picture is the veins and only the veins of a duck and rooster. Everything else has been taken away, which, holy crap, how did they do that x_X. You can't see the detail of the individual veins in the pic, but when you;re up close it seems like a finely layered net type of thing.


Free-kay! How do they get a bundle of veins to stand up in the shape of a chicken once they have isolated them? I have seen some pretty cool images of the plasticized (plastinated? plastoided?) human bodies. I was all, like, whoa. Mon 13-Feb-2006 18:00
